The draft law on the legal status of New Zuunmod City was approved by the joint session of the Parliament on 06.05.2024.
With the approval of the Law on the Legal Status of New Zuunmod City, a major component of the comprehensive legal reform to implement the '20-minute city' concept by the Government of Mongolia, 31,000 hectares of land in the Sergelen and Altanbulag sums of the Central Province, southwest of Bogdhan Mountain, have been designated for development. This initiative aims to establish New Zuunmod City as a healthy and safe environment conducive to living and working, thereby creating stable conditions for construction and investment.
