Member of Parliament and the Minister of Mongolia B. Delgersaikhan /15.01.2024/ meets Tanaka Shinichi, chief representative of JICA, Japan's International Cooperation Organization. The plenipotentiary representative of the Government of Mongolia, M. Batbayar, officials of the National Committee for Reducing Traffic Congestion of the Ulaanbaatar city, and the project team of JICA participated in the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Member of Parliament and Minister of Mongolia B. Delgersaikhan presented projects and programs in the fields of solving the development problems facing Mongolia, as well as basic studies for social and economic development, especially macroeconomic development, governance strengthening, industrial diversification, and infrastructure improvement. He also gave information about the work and legal framework implemented by the Government of Mongolia.
JICA presented the progress of the project "Supporting the development of the New Century City and Free Economic Zone". The project will be implemented in 2 years from December 2023.

Within the framework of this project, we will support the drafting of a law on the development of New Zuunmod City and the creation of legal, investment, and institutional systems for the city's free/special economic zone.
